Energy Conference organisers, local agencies offer unique networking opportunities at 5K walk

Organizers of the Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo are providing a unique opportunity for persons interested in the oil and gas sector to promote themselves and their businesses through a wellness walk that will provide numerous networking opportunities.

The Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo is an annual event that brings together industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to discuss the latest developments, challenges, and opportunities in the energy and supply chain sectors. This year’s event is scheduled for February 18 -21 at the Guyana Marriott under the theme, “Connecting the Dots: Integrating the Future.”

The organizers will be hosting the 5K run/walk to allow participants and interested persons to rub shoulders ahead of the main event. The conference and expo which will take place on February 16, 2025, at the Marriott Beach “…is offering a unique opportunity for networking, wellness, and fun as we come together to support the energy sector,” organizers said in a public invitation.

“We are excited to invite you to participate in the 5K Energy Run/Walk, a vibrant and community-driven event hosted as part of the Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo.”  The event will be held under the theme, ‘Energise Guyana: Run Towards Wellness,’ in partnership with the Men On Mission (MOM), the Ministry of Health, and Star Rentals.

“As a sponsor or exhibitor at the conference, your participation in the Energy Run/Walk will not only showcase your commitment to sustainability and active living but will also provide valuable exposure to hundreds of attendees and industry leaders.”  The organizers noted that participation by key sponsors in the walk would not only allow for networking opportunities with fellow participants but also provide a chance for persons to promote their company’s commitment to a sustainable energy future. Participants will receive an official event t-shirt and hat. Registration is free and interested persons are encouraged to do so.
