Update: Contractor charged with possession of marijuana

38-year-old Khemraj Lall, who was apprehended for having 61 grams of marijuana stuffed in three Pringles containers on February 10, 2025, at 11:00 hours, at ZinJin AGM Inc. along the Cuyuni River in Essequibo, during a search, appeared in the Bartica Magistrates Court today, February 12, 2025, at 10:20 hrs today before His Worship Teriq Mohammed, where the charge was read to him. Lall pleaded guilty and was fined $30,000 and sentenced to two months imprisonment.
