Mother shot dead

A mother of one was reportedly shot and killed, allegedly by her partner, at their Diamond Housing Scheme, East Bank Demerara (EBD) home.

The victim has been identified as Kenesha Vaughn.

While details are still sketchy, unconfirmed reports suggest that the suspect is a city businessman and the father of the victim’s child.

The incident is believed to have occurred following a domestic dispute.

The couple was reportedly the proprietors of the Nicky Juice establishment.

Family and friends of the victim have since taken to Facebook to express their condolences.
