Stuart Young has taken the oath of office to become Trinidad and Tobago’s eighth Prime Minister.

The ceremony took place recently at the Office of the President in St. Ann’s.

Young replaces Dr. Keith Rowley, who officially resigned from the position on Sunday after serving two terms as head of the government.

Camille Robinson-Regis was also sworn in this morning as the new Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs. She succeeds Reginald Armour, who resigned to take up a position at the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court in St. Lucia.
