Police in Linden are actively investigating a suspected drowning after the body of an elderly man was discovered submerged at the bottom of the Toucan Mall, located at Amelia’s Ward, Mackenzie.
Divers and police are currently at the scene working to retrieve the body, which has been identified as 67-year-old Henry Gardener.
Reports indicate that the body may have been there since last evening.
Gardener is said to have been a maintenance worker at the location.
