Executive Member of the People’s National Congress Reform (PNCR) and Chairman of Region Four, Daniel Seeram, has publicly endorsed President Dr. Irfaan Ali and Vice President Dr. Bharrat Jagdeo for a second term in office.
The endorsement was made via a Facebook post on Tuesday, where Seeram stated that his decision followed “fruitful discussions and careful considerations on matters of national and regional development.”
“I am pleased to endorse President Irfaan Ali and Vice President Bharrat Jagdeo for a second term to lead the Cooperative Republic of Guyana. God Bless the Cooperative Republic of Guyana,” Seeram wrote.
His public backing of the governing People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) leadership comes ahead of the anticipated 2025 general and regional elections on September 1st.
The executive member of the PNCR previously served as Chairman of the East Demerara/West Coast Demerara (Region Four) Democratic Council, the country’s most populous region.
Seeram’s endorsement of the PPP/C comes on the heels of Shazaam Ally, a founding member of The Citizenship Initiative (TCI) and former independent candidate, joining the current administration.
