This Father’s Day, dads across Georgetown are being offered more than just the usual gifts — they’re being given the opportunity to invest in their health.
On Saturday, June 14, the Living Stones Church in South Ruimveldt Park will host a free Men’s Health Screening aimed at fathers, uncles, grandfathers, and father figures who often place their own health last.
The event is backed by the Ministry of Health’s $10,000 Universal Health Voucher, making it accessible to all eligible participants.
Khaimwattie Chandradatt, Laboratory Manager at Caribbean Surgery Inc., explained that the screenings are thoughtfully organised into three custom health packages.
“We’ve created three packages tailored for dads — those under 50, over 50, and those managing high blood pressure or diabetes,” Chandradatt said.
“Samples will be collected on-site, processed at our lab, and results sent by WhatsApp, email, or printed copy, whichever the patient prefers,” she said.
