Two Amerindian farmers—34-year-old Clifton Thomas and 20-year-old Sylvester Thomas, both of Micopara Settlement, Tuseneng Village—were fatally stabbed during an altercation last Friday at Tuseneng Creek, North Pakarimas.
Police have launched an investigation into the alleged double murder. Preliminary reports indicate that the victims were imbibing with a man identified as Kendel Joseph, known as “James”, when an argument broke out.
During the confrontation, the suspect allegedly stabbed both men, resulting in their deaths. He then fled the scene.
The suspect, also an Amerindian male, remains at large. His age and other details are currently unknown.
