NDMA prepares citizens for a ‘connected Guyana’ in Moruca

The National Data Management Agency (NDMA) visited the Ko-Ko Hutawari ICT Hub in Moruca, Region 1 on Monday, hosting Cybersecurity and eService Awareness Sessions to equip residents with the skills needed for a digitally connected Guyana.

The sessions are part of NDMA’s ongoing efforts to prepare citizens for the country’s digital transformation, ensuring they can safely and effectively access government services online.

Participants were introduced to a range of digital services soon to be available, including passport applications and renewals, health and education services, and permits and licences, among other essential services.

NDMA emphasized that these sessions are central to empowering communities with digital literacy, helping residents navigate a modern, connected society while supporting the government’s vision of fully digitized public services.
