Minister of Education, Hon. Sonia Parag, on Tuesday evening held a successful outreach with parents and teachers of Annandale, where she listened to their concerns and provided immediate responses.
During the engagement, attendees were given the opportunity to directly raise issues with the Minister. According to the Ministry, Minister Parag offered on-the-spot solutions and assured participants that their voices will continue to guide the sector’s development.
The Education Minister also announced plans to host similar engagements across the country to interact not only with teachers and parents but also with students.
She was accompanied by senior officials of the Ministry of Education, including Chief Education Officer, Mr. Saddam Hussain; Deputy Chief Education Officer (Admin), Ms. Tiffany Harvey; Deputy Chief Education Officer (Technical), Dr. Ritesh Tularam; Assistant Chief Education Officer (Secondary), Mr. Sherwyn Blackman; Assistant Chief Education Officer (Primary), Mr. Rabrindra Singh; Assistant Chief Education Officer (Nursery), Mr. Davendra Singh; and Regional Education Officer for Region Four, Ms. Kean Adams, along with other education officers.
