Residents of Region Two are encouraged to take advantage of a free Health Outreach hosted by the Ministry of Health this Friday, October 10, 2025, at the Anna Regina Car Park. The event will run from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and will provide a range of essential health services aimed at promoting wellness and early detection.
Among the free services available are eye testing, cervical cancer screening, and laboratory tests. In addition, Eye Testing, Spectacles, Cervical Cancer, and Universal Health Vouchers will be distributed to eligible participants.
The Ministry of Health is urging residents to “take charge of your health, because your well-being matters,” emphasizing the importance of regular screening and access to preventive care.
Participants are reminded to bring a valid form of identification to ensure smooth registration on the day of the event.
This outreach forms part of the Government of Guyana’s ongoing commitment to ensuring “Health for All”, by bringing essential medical services directly to communities across the country.
