GPL supports Diwali festival

In celebration of Guyana’s cultural diversity, Guyana Power & Light Inc. (GPL) has made a donation to the Guyana Hindu Dharmic Sabha to support the upcoming Diwali Festival. The contribution reflects GPL’s commitment to fostering unity and honoring the nation’s rich cultural traditions.

The donation was formally handed over by GPL’s Team Leader, Kesh Nandlall, who highlighted the significance of preserving Guyana’s multicultural heritage.

“Diwali is a time of light, reflection, and togetherness. At GPL, we believe in powering not just homes and businesses, but also the cultural spirit that brings our communities to life,” Nandlall said.

Receiving the contribution on behalf of the Sabha, Executive Member Savitri Sukhai expressed gratitude for GPL’s ongoing support of cultural initiatives.
