Minister of Education, Hon. Sonia Parag, recently received a courtesy call from the leadership of the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC), including Registrar Dr. Wayne Wesley and Director of Operations Dr. Nicole Manning.
The meeting focused on CXC’s future direction and explored avenues for enhanced collaboration between the Council, the Ministry of Education, and Guyana as a whole.
During the engagement, Minister Parag outlined the government’s vision for advancing education in Guyana and expressed appreciation to CXC for its continued support and contributions to the region’s education sector.
She was joined by Permanent Secretary Shannielle Hoosein-Outar, Chief Education Officer Saddam Hussain, Chief Planning Officer Mischka White-Griffith, and Superintendent of Examinations Souda Kadir.
