Team Guyana has secured the Bronze Award for Exhibition Design under the sub-theme “Connecting Lives” in the Shared Pavilion category at Expo Japan 2025, marking a significant achievement on the global stage.
The Guyana Office for Investment supported the Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce throughout the six-month Expo, maintaining a continuous presence in Japan to actively promote the country as a prime investment destination. The team worked closely with the private sector, facilitated business-to-business matchmaking sessions with Japanese companies, and engaged through the J-GoodTech Expo Matching Portal in collaboration with Japan’s SME Support Organization (SMRJ).
“These efforts helped showcase Guyana’s culture, innovation, and business potential on the global stage while forging meaningful investment linkages and partnerships,” the Office said. “This award represents not only design excellence but also Guyana’s strategic positioning to the world with creativity, ambition, and promise, guided by the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali.”
The Guyana Office for Investment extended congratulations to the team, noting that their dedication continues to elevate the country’s international presence and strengthen its profile as a destination for business, culture, and innovation.
