Children in Mobil Gas Station bombing recovering

Twelve-year-old Seddia McIntosh and seven-year-old Reshard Lord are in stable condition and on the path to recovery following the tragic explosion at the Mobil Gas Station on Regent and King Street on Sunday evening.

Human Services and Social Security Minister, Dr. Vindhya Persaud, visited the children at Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) and also met the family of six-year-old Soraya Bourne, who died in a related explosion at their Leopold Street home.

Through the Childcare and Protection Agency (CPA) and the Difficult Circumstances Unit (DCU), the Ministry continues to provide counseling, as well as emotional and financial support, to the family.
