Guyana starts South American Junior campaign today in Peru

Guyana is sending a powerhouse team of young athletes to the Junior South American Games, which kick off today in Lima, Peru.

Leading the charge is the dynamic Rodel Greene, who is ready to deliver an explosive performance in the triple jump. Sprinting sensation Skylar Charles will take center stage in both the 100m and 200m, while the fierce Onesi Dunn aims to seize glory in the 100m. Rounding out the sprint lineup is the formidable Tishan Easton, set to take on the challenge in the 200m.

In the middle-distance arena, Javon Roberts and Kaidon Persaud will represent Guyana in the 800m, and the nation will also compete in the 4x400m relay.
