A distinguished group of diplomats, business leaders and long-standing clients were honoured at this year’s ActionCOACH Recognition and Anniversary Awards Ceremony, celebrating leadership, business growth and continued commitment to excellence.
Certificates of Appreciation were presented to members of the diplomatic community, including Jane Miller OBE, British High Commissioner; Nicole D. Theriot, US Ambassador to Guyana; Liselle Blankendal, Ambassador of Suriname to Guyana; Mauricio Vizcaino-Crespo, Mexican Ambassador to Guyana; Sébastien Sigouin, Canadian High Commissioner; and Lorena Solórzano-Salazar, Country Representative of the Inter-American Development Bank, in recognition of their support and collaborative contributions throughout 2025.
Long-serving ActionCOACH clients with five to nine years of continuous engagement were also celebrated, representing the largest and most distinguished award tier. Business leaders from companies including ELGAWA Guyana Inc., Styles Guyana, Caribbean Medical Supplies Inc., A. Ally and Sons, Camille’s Academy Inc., Caribbean Motor Spares, Farfan and Mendes, and Floor It Guyana were recognised for sustained transformation, disciplined leadership and consistent growth.
Additional awards acknowledged clients in their first and second years, third and fourth years, and new participants under the Onboarding and Rapid Start (OAR) category, reflecting the full developmental journey of entrepreneurs.
Outstanding contributions within the ActionINVEST Caribbean Inc. team were also recognised. Amisha Hardaiow received the Rising Star Award for her growth during her first year, while Safia Ally earned the Highest Focus Sheet Award with a leading 92 percent. Academic advancement was acknowledged for Amrita Naraine, Tatianna Elcock and Eleesha Sanasie.
Team excellence awards included Lakraj Sursen as Team Collaborator of the Year and the Human Resources Department, led by Safia Ally, for Outstanding Department Performance. Upasna Mudlier was named Team Member of the Year for exceptional consistency in 2025.
Long-serving team members were recognised for loyalty and service. Five-year awards were presented to Marvin Thompson, Tatianna Elcock and Divya Doerga, while Keon Smith was honoured for ten years of service. The Stewardship Award went to Davitri Doerga for leadership and care, and the Pioneer Award was presented to Dr. Vishnu Doerga for vision and continuous innovation.
