Murder suspect arrested, gun and ammunition seized

Police arrested a 27-year-old male from Blueberry Hill, Linden, at a night spot in New Amsterdam around 00:30hrs on Friday, following an intelligence-led operation.

The suspect is under investigation for his alleged involvement in the murder of Samuel Marciano, which occurred on November 2, 2025, at 14 Miles, Issano Landing, Middle Mazaruni.

During a search of the suspect’s vehicle, officers found a 9mm Taurus pistol and eleven live rounds of ammunition hidden in the driver’s side door. The firearm and ammunition were seized and processed as evidence.

The suspect remains in custody while investigations continue.
