Two Brazilian gold miners died on Tuesday after a sand collapse trapped them inside a mining pit at “S” Bend Backdam, Chenapou, North Pakaraimas, police said.
The victims, identified as Cleumiton Da Silva Santos, 37, and Antonio Filho, 44, were retrieved motionless, while other workers managed to escape, police said.
