The Government Procurement Opportunities Website has been officially launched by the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB), providing a centralised digital platform to increase transparency, fairness, and competition in public procurement across Guyana.
The platform, available at https://eprocure.gov.gy/, will serve as the primary portal for all government procurement notices, including Invitations to Tender (ITTs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and Expressions of Interest (EOIs). NPTAB said the initiative represents a major step in modernising the country’s public procurement system and ensuring equitable access for contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
By centralising procurement advertisements, the government aims to improve public access to information, ensure the timely dissemination of opportunities, maintain compliance with procurement regulations, and promote confidence in the national procurement system.
Prospective bidders are encouraged to visit the website regularly to stay informed about current and upcoming opportunities, the ministry said, reiterating its commitment to transparency, efficiency, and equitable access within Guyana’s procurement framework.
