XM rum variants and Maximum vodka produced by Banks DIH have secured the Monde Selection Gold Quality Award, an internationally recognised benchmark for product excellence.
The company said the recognition places its spirits among a select group of global manufacturers that consistently meet stringent international standards for consumer goods.
The award-winning XM range—comprising 5, 12 and 15-Year-Old expressions—along with the Maximum Vodka line, were featured at a press conference held on Thursday at the company’s Thirst Park Rum Factory.
Rum Factory Executive Gregory Garraway described the award as a major milestone for the company, saying a gold medal from Monde Selection represents “absolute perfection” in taste, aroma and craftsmanship.
He said each rum is crafted from premium alcohol and matured in oak bourbon barrels, with every expression reflecting its age profile and the company’s emphasis on quality and innovation.
Garraway credited the achievement to the dedication of the factory workforce, saying the recognition reflected the precision and commitment of employees across the production process.
He added that the XM 15-Year-Old Rum, in particular, is highly regarded among rum connoisseurs for its complexity and refined character, and said the award underscores the company’s efforts to strengthen its presence on the global stage.
