The Massy Women’s Caribbean Premier League (WCPL) has announced that the official Player Draft Show for the 2025 season will be broadcast on Monday at 10:00 a.m. ECT / 3:00 p.m. BST / 7:30 p.m. IST.
According to a release, fans across the Caribbean and around the world can tune in via the CPL’s official YouTube and Facebook pages to witness the unveiling of the squad line-ups for all three WCPL franchises.
The show will be hosted by the dynamic Alex Jordan and will feature expert analysis and commentary from cricket stalwarts Daren Ganga and Nikhil Uttamchandani. Viewers can expect insights into the players who have been retained, newly signed, and drafted ahead of the upcoming tournament.
The 2025 WCPL will feature the Barbados Royals, Guyana Amazon Warriors, and Trinbago Knight Riders.
This year’s tournament is scheduled to run from September 6 to 17, with all matches set to be played at the Guyana National Stadium in Providence. The competition will consist of six group-stage matches, followed by a final between the top two teams to decide the 2025 WCPL champions.
With a blend of seasoned stars and emerging talent, the draft show is expected to set the tone for what promises to be another exciting season of women’s T20 cricket in the Caribbean.
