Kizzian Baird, a 30-year-old businesswoman, and Junior Richmond, a 40-year-old businessman, were today charged with the offence of murder, relating to the deaths of Mark Thomas and Wendy James. The alleged double murder occurred on June 16, 2025, in Baramita, located in the North West District (NWD).
The two murder accused appeared at the Port Kaituma Magistrate’s Court before His Worship Rabindranaught Singh via Zoom to answer the charges. They were not required to enter a plea. Both individuals were represented by Attorney-at-Law Pamela De Santos. They have been remanded to prison until August 14, 2025, for disclosure.
Mark Thomas and Wendy James, both residents of Barama River, Baramita, North West District in Region One, were allegedly murdered by Baird and Richmond at New Star Backdam, NWD.
