Leon Defreitas, a 36-year-old DJ from Kuru Kururu, Soesdyke-Linden Highway, and Ryan Rajnarine, a 30-year-old office assistant and music selector from Soesdyke Back Road, East Bank Demerara, were today charged with incitement in connection with the recent sexual assault incident at Raghoo’s Bar, Soesdyke.
They reportedly incited Barry Sullivan—who is the subject of a police wanted bulletin—to engage in sexual penetration of a female without her consent on July 13, 2025, at Raghoo’s Bar, located along the Soesdyke Public Road. The incident, which was captured on video and widely circulated on social media, has drawn strong public condemnation.
The charge was laid under Section 3(3) of the Sexual Offences Act, Chapter 8:03.
