The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) has achieved a significant milestone in its efforts to enhance local football standards by honouring 12 coaches who have completed the CONCACAF C License Coaching Programme.
The comprehensive course was conducted in three intensive blocks, combining theoretical knowledge, practical sessions, and a supervised development period. It was led by experienced Coach Educators Bryan Joseph and Lyndon France.
The curriculum covered essential topics such as team function, tactical principles, leadership, and effective session planning.
The newly certified coaches are Leon Roberts, Jersild Wright, Dwain Babb, Jamal Johnson, Andre Gibbs, Andrew Nestor, Delon Williams, Nichola Argyle, Trevon Lythcott, Wheatland Fordyce, Trevor Burnett, and Jamal Pedro.
They are now qualified to meet CONCACAF’s rigorous standards and fulfill club licensing requirements. These coaches will play a crucial role in the technical development of youth and senior players across Guyana.
