A cyclist was killed on Friday afternoon after being struck and run over by a lorry at the Ogle Roundabout on Guyana’s East Coast Demerara, police said.
The unidentified man was riding south in the eastern drive lane when the left side of the lorry, driven by 32-year-old Fabian Rampersaud, made contact with him. He fell to the roadway and was crushed by the vehicle’s left front tyre.
