GuyExpo 2025 was launched Monday evening at the Arthur Chung Conference Centre, setting the stage for one of Guyana’s largest trade and investment events.

The exposition will be held from November 13 to 16 at the Sophia Exhibition Centre under the theme “Transformation Through Entrepreneurship and Innovation.” Organisers say the event will provide opportunities for businesses to connect with both local and international markets.

Tourism, Industry and Commerce Minister Susan Rodrigues, in her feature remarks, described GuyExpo as Guyana’s premier business platform. She said it allows local companies to gain exposure while attracting investors and partners from abroad.

This year’s staging will introduce several upgrades, including a networking hub facilitated by the Guyana Office for Investment (Go-Invest), redesigned layouts, and recognition for businesses that have consistently participated in the expo. Popular features such as the food courts, children’s area, and tourism village will also be expanded.

Rodrigues emphasised that the exposition will not only highlight commerce but also showcase Guyana’s culture and creativity through entertainment and performances.

First held in 1995, GuyExpo is Guyana’s longest-running trade fair and has grown to attract hundreds of exhibitors annually. The 2025 edition is expected to feature participants from sectors such as energy, construction, agriculture, manufacturing, tourism, and the creative industries.

While the event has strong government support, Rodrigues said the private sector will play a central role in its success. More information on keynote speakers, sponsors, and the full programme is expected in the coming weeks.
