The Georgetown Hub of the Global Shapers Community is inviting young leaders aged 18 to 27 to apply and take part in initiatives aimed at creating meaningful change in their communities.
The program provides youth with the opportunity to develop leadership skills, collaborate with like-minded peers, and engage in projects addressing critical local and global issues, including climate action, mental health, disaster response, and social inclusion.
Global Shapers is a network of young leaders, established by the World Economic Forum, with independent hubs in cities around the world. Since 2011, the community has implemented over 2,000 projects, benefiting more than 2 million people globally.
Members receive mentorship, training, and access to a worldwide network of changemakers, enabling them to turn ideas into impactful projects. The organization operates on the principle that “young people are best placed to lead radical, inclusive, and transformative change,” aiming to empower emerging voices in decision-making and help them positively shape their communities and the world.
Interested applicants in Georgetown can apply now through the google form link found on the Global Shapers Community – Georgetown Hub/FB to join the hub and start their journey as changemakers.
