President of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF), Wayne Forde, and General Secretary, Pushpargha Chattopadhyay, recently hosted the new Charge D’Affaires of the Argentine Embassy, Carlos Alfaro, during a courtesy visit aimed at strengthening ties through football.

The discussions focused on several areas of potential collaboration, including coaching education, coach exchange initiatives, futsal development, and possible support from the Argentine corporate business community.

According to the GFF, both parties expressed deep appreciation for the engagement. The Federation noted that it looks forward to exploring these opportunities for meaningful collaboration with Argentina to further enhance football development in Guyana
