The Government of Guyana has officially launched the upgraded Immigration Support Services eServices Platform, marking a major step toward digitizing public services and improving accessibility for citizens and visitors alike.

The announcement was made by Minister of Home Affairs, Oneidge Walrond, who described the initiative as the fulfillment of a key commitment made by His Excellency, President Dr. Irfaan Ali.

“Today, I am proud to announce the launch of the upgraded Immigration Support Services eServices Platform — a key commitment fulfilled by His Excellency, President Dr. Irfaan Ali,” Minister Walrond said in a statement.

The new digital platform allows users to easily access a wide range of immigration services online, including visas, extensions, amendments, cancellations, and transfers, all from their own devices.

According to the Minister, this advancement is part of the administration’s broader goal of modernizing public services through technology.

“This launch brings us closer to faster, more transparent, and accessible public services for every Guyanese, no matter where they are,” Walrond added.

The upgraded system aims to enhance efficiency within the immigration department, reduce processing times, and improve convenience for both local and international users.
