Yesterday, Guyana’s Chief Investment Officer, Hon. Dr. Peter R. Ramsaroop, M.P., met with His Majesty’s Deputy Trade Commissioner for Latin America and the Caribbean, Mr. Oliver Ballhatchet, alongside Her Excellency Jane Miller, OBE, British High Commissioner to Guyana, and members of the British High Commission, to discuss the ongoing investment and trade relationship between Guyana and the United Kingdom.
The discussions focused on deepening bilateral trade and investment ties, reviewing the success of previous UK trade delegations, and the Guyana Office for Investment’s continuing engagements in England. Both parties also highlighted the upcoming BritCham Guyana event, which will showcase Guyana’s expanding trade and investment opportunities with the United Kingdom.
