Police are offering a $5 million reward for information leading to the capture of the main suspect in Sunday’s explosion at the Mobil Fuel Station at Regent and King Streets, Georgetown, which claimed the life of a child and left several others injured.
In a wanted bulletin, the Guyana Police Force (GPF) urged anyone with information on the suspect’s whereabouts to contact them on 225-6978, 225-8196, 227-1611, 225-6940, or visit the nearest police station.
Earlier, investigators reported recovering clothing believed to have been worn by the suspect, described as a Spanish-speaking foreign national, who remains at large. The items were found discarded at a location in Region Three.
According to the GPF’s Corporate Communications Unit, detectives have positively identified the suspect, and the investigation is advancing. The Force assured that further updates will be provided as the manhunt and probe continue.
