Acting on information received, a team of Police headed by a Superintendent, went to Vergenoegen sideline dam, East Bank Essequibo, today (Tuesday, October 28th, 2025), where the main perpetrator (terrorist suspect), Daniel Alexander Ramirez Peodomo, was promptly arrested. He is presently in Police custody, assisting with the ongoing investigations into the tragic explosion that occurred on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at the Mobil Fuel Station, Regent and King Streets, Georgetown, which claimed the life of a child and left four others injured.
