A 30-year-old carpenter, Kevin Alexander, of Block 22, Wismar, Linden, was fatally stabbed on Monday night during a reported domestic dispute at his residence.
Police said the incident occurred around 21:45 hrs, following an argument between Alexander and his 28-year-old girlfriend, a housewife of the same address. During the altercation, the woman allegedly stabbed him once to the left side of his abdomen.
He was rushed to the Linden Hospital Complex by relatives and public-spirited citizens but was pronounced dead on arrival.
The suspect has been arrested and remains in custody, while Alexander’s body is at the Gjetsco Funeral Parlour awaiting a post-mortem examination. Investigations are ongoing.
