Slingerz Racing Stable kicked off the 2026 racing season with a strong performance on Monday at the Grand Prix City Hall of Rio de Janeiro (G3) at the Gávea Hippodrome, Brazil.
Competing in the seventh race over 1,900 meters, the stable’s horses, L’ente Supremo and Olympic National, showcased their talent, finishing first and fourth, respectively.
L’ente Supremo, ridden by top jockey João Moreira, delivered an impressive performance, demonstrating tactical skill and determination to secure the Group 3 title. He crossed the finish line decisively, earning Real $71,808 and marking a significant victory for Slingerz Racing Stable. This win represents L’ente Supremo’s fifth career victory and his fourth at the Group level, following several other notable successes.
Olympic National also performed admirably, finishing fourth under jockey Leandro Henrique, further highlighting the depth of the stable. Owner Javed Ali expressed pride in the achievements and acknowledged the team’s hard work, emphasising the stable’s ambitions in Brazil and across South America.
