Tropical Orchard Products Company Limited (TOPCO) said it is cooperating with the Guyana Police Force as authorities investigate a serious road accident involving one of its trucks earlier today at Orangestein Public Road, East Bank Essequibo.
The company said the crash resulted in the deaths of a father and a child, while the child’s mother remains in critical condition.
TOPCO said it was deeply saddened by the tragedy and extended condolences to the family and loved ones affected.
The company added that it would refrain from further comment out of respect for the grieving family and the integrity of the ongoing investigation.
