The Machinery Corporation of Guyana Limited (MACORP) is positioning itself as a key partner in the country’s growing oil and gas industry after years of providing reliable and innovative solutions in the areas of mining, marine, agriculture, and power generation.

MACORP is making its second consecutive appearance at the Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo (2025), currently being held at the Marriott Hotel. It is showcasing industry-leading solutions to key stakeholders in the energy and supply chain sectors, with branding services provided by Impressions.

The company is promoting its DE33EO 33.8KVA (prime) generator and C18 ACERT Caterpillar engine—both essential products for the oil and gas sector—along with its comprehensive training scheme, specialisation capabilities, and C175-20 (60 Hz) 5MVA (4MW) Diesel Generator Turbines, which will soon be operational at the upcoming Gas-to-Energy Project.

MACORP’s Marketing and Communications Manager, Nadia De Abreu, told Ignite News that as Guyana’s exclusive Caterpillar dealer, the company is committed to delivering exceptional value across all sectors, including oil and gas, through its advanced technology solutions.

“Our Caterpillar engines, such as the one powering the Liza Destiny offshore platform, remain integral to the operations of major projects in the sector,” De Abreu said. She noted that the company offers a wide range of energy solutions, including generators and power modules in various sizes, to meet the sector’s diverse needs.

MACORP also provides expert oil sample testing services, adhering to the highest industry standards to ensure optimal machine performance.

“Our in-house laboratory, recently certified by the Guyana National Bureau of Standards, plays a crucial role in detecting potential issues and enhancing the longevity of critical equipment,” said De Abreu.

The company expressed pride in offering remote asset monitoring for Caterpillar heavy equipment and generators, enabling clients to maximise productivity and operational efficiency.

MACORP looks forward to engaging with industry leaders, gaining valuable insights, and strengthening relationships with partners and clients.

“Networking and client satisfaction remain a priority for us, and we look forward to utilising this event to gather feedback and further demonstrate our capabilities,” De Abreu said.
