The Guyana Office for Investment (Go-Invest) is gearing up for the Japan World Expo 2025, a six-month global event where it will showcase the country’s investment opportunities, trade potential, and tourism sector.

The expo, scheduled to run from 13 April to 13 October 2025, will feature a dedicated Guyana pavilion highlighting key industries, economic strengths, and the country’s business-friendly investment climate.

A National Day event, set for 27 April 2025, will bring together senior government officials and private sector representatives to promote Guyana’s economy and culture, Go-Invest said in a Facebook post.

To prepare for the event, Go-Invest held a strategic meeting on Friday with business support organisations, private sector leaders, and key stakeholders.

“The expo is a critical platform for promoting Guyana as a destination for investment and trade,” Go-Invest stated.

The agency will facilitate business matchmaking and investor engagements throughout the event to strengthen ties with Japanese businesses and expand trade relations.

Guyana’s participation aligns with its broader economic strategy to attract foreign investment and increase global trade partnerships.

Go-Invest said it will continue to coordinate efforts to ensure the country makes a strong impact at the expo.

The Japan World Expo 2025, hosted in Osaka, is expected to draw millions of visitors and major investors from around the world.
